Wild Old Tree Pu-erh Tea Granule (2003)

Pu-erh tea is a post-fermented tea which can only be made with a specific variety of broad-leaf tea plant. Pu-erh tea is named after Pu'er county in Yunnan, China. It is a very unusual tea, because unlike other teas which are consumed within two years after harvested, it can be over 50 years old and is usually aged at least 5 years. Over this time it acquires an earthy flavor which is due to fermentation.

Pu-erh tea contains antioxidants and other substances: Catechin, Theanine, Beta Carotene, Polyphenol, Vitamin B1, B2, C, E, and Probiotics, etc. Pu-erh tea is considered a medicinal tea in China. Pu-erh tea has been subject to a number of health studies. A number of medical studies have substantiated claims that the tea helps reduce LDL cholesterol levels and This tea has many health effects including reducing gall stone and kidney stone, and anti-cancer, etc.

Researchers in China showed that Pu-erh tea is excellent for health amongst all teas for health. Like wine, the old aged Pu-erh tea is quite expensive and rare in the international tea market.

Prime Aged Pu-erh Tea Golden Granule (2003) is composed of a high grade Pu-erh tea leaves compressed into a granule. This tea was made and preserved in 2003. Its water is brown color and sweetly favored, with mineral earthiness and distinctive aroma. This tea is individually wrapped in order to steep easily.
One tablet of this tea may be 7-8 cups(over 56-64 oz).
22 tablets last for 35-40 days. 45 tablets last for 70-80 days.
Don’t forget to remove the wrapped paper before the tea is steeped.

Brewing Instructions

  • Put one granule of tea into Easy Tea Maker or coffee maker
  • Pour hot water(8 oz) and let it steep for 2-3 minutes.
  •  Strain steeped tea water and drink it (serving size: 8 oz) during daytime.
  • May be steeped up to 5-7 times until tea color is translucent light brown.
  • Don't drink tea in strong taste (dark brown color), but drink it in mild taste by adding more water.
  • For maximum benefits drink 4 servings in the morning and afternoon.
  • For regular benefits drink 2 servings a day.
  • May add ice, lemon, lime, or milk.
  • For healthy benefits, avoid 'soda, sweet beverages, and sweetener
